Director, Huntley Project Museum of Irrigated Agriculture, November 21, 2016 - Present. My current responsibilities include working in conjunction with the Board to develop the strategic direction and establish initiatives to fulfill the mission of the Museum, including increasing local and statewide awareness. Directing the museum's operations include development, education, public programming, finance, external communications, and staffing. Serving as a leader by managing, mentoring and scheduling all personnel including the full-time staff of four, part-time staff, volunteers, and consultants. Taking a lead role and participating in all fundraising and development activities. Overseeing grant writing and developing relationships with foundations, corporations, and individual donors. Serving as the spokesperson and chief advocate for the Museum. Establishing strong partnerships in the community and enhancing the Museum’s public image to expand interest and support. Responsible for communications and tracking of internet advertising, website design/maintenance, printed advertising, social media and other methods to test and increase attendance and reattendance. Supervise the security and taking care of the property and facilities of the Museum, as well as the collections. Maintaining the current memberships and implementing new ideas to grow all types of memberships. Other duties include greeting guests, giving tours when needed as well as managing the gift shop. Creating and presenting reports to the board, annual membership meeting and county commissioners on a regular basis is also part of my responsibilities.

Principal responsibilities include grid, zone, random and diagnostic soil sampling. Other respon- sibilities include crop scouting, custom fertilizer blends, custom crop rotations based on sound sustainable farming practices. One on one consultations with farmers and ranchers listening and understanding their needs in order to create custom management strategies that will be profitable and maintain soil health. Duties include creating science based presentations to help increase the knowledge base of the area farmers. Maintaining positive working relationships with re- searchers, industry representatives, state and federal agriculture agencies in both North Dakota and Montana.

Huntley Mt

Implement maintain and interpret applied agronomic field research conducted on the Southern Agricultural Research Center. Research duties include grant writing, assisting planning, design and implementation of agronomy field research projects, application of treatments to research plots and rotation fields, recording research data, collecting and processing research samples in accordance with scientifically prescribed methods analysis of experimental data, summarization and interpretation of research results. Also maintaining plot and laboratory scientific equipment, supplies and project facilities. Responsible for direct supervision of part time/ seasonal employees. Assist when asked with other research projects underway the center.

Assist in the manufacturing and packaging of pharmaceutical drugs. Principle responsibilities include a working knowledge of production processes and compliance with all pertinent Standard Operating Procedures. Also under supervision, handling hazardous chemicals safely and wearing the appropriate personal protective equipment including the use of a respirator and assisting in the operation of a variety of production equipment. Other responsibilities include training personnel and proper documentation of all equipment readings and manufacturing processes.

Principal responsibilities and qualifications include: performing compendial raw material and finished product testing, assisting in the execution of IQ/OQ/PQ protocols for laboratory instruments, accurately documenting experimental data and results in appropriate logbooks, notebooks or result sheets, authoring standard operating procedures, reviewing and checking analytical data generated by other analysts, following standard operating procedures/test methods when performing assigned tasks, assisting with laboratory out of specification investigations, performing instrument maintenance or calibration under supervision. Knowledge of USP/ICH guidelines, a working knowledge of analytical techniques including HPLC, GC, FTIR UV-Vis and wet chemistry. Knowledge of cGMP regulations pertaining to laboratory controls. Training personnel on the above analytical techniques, and proper documentation according to FDA and ICH guidelines for analytical testing of pharmaceutical drugs.

Responsibilities included designing experiments, setting up experiments, delegating tasks, overseeing the progress of the tasks, research and presenting scientific work. Fostered a working relationship with Northwest Community College, local seed suppliers, fertilizer suppliers and local farmers. In charge of conducting soil tests such as analyzing soil samples using standard nutrient analysis procedures and soil texture by mechanical particle size distribution. Responsible acetylene reduction assays and a ureide testing using combined ideas of plant and soil ureide testing so that testing can be carried out in remote areas. I was also involved in the cultivation operations, weed control and irrigation.
