Overseeing all Park marketing and public relations, as well as planning and executing all Park events, including, but not limited to: AppleFest, Highland Games, Independence Celebration, Bethabara Band Concerts and Holiday Programming. Responsible for all park promotional pieces, including, flyers, posters, brochures, rack cards and more. Design and schedule all Park advertising in print,and on radio, television and social media.

• Served as primary contact for media and public inquiries • Planned and operated Tanglewood special events including 4th of July Fireworks Extravaganza, Wine Festival, and Festival of Lights • Managed a staff of up to 40 including Festival of Lights Staff, Event Staff, Pool and Lake Staff, and Nature Education Staff • Coordinated with Sherriff’s Department and Emergency Services to provide coverage during events and during emergencies at Tanglewood Park • Promoted Tanglewood events and amenities to the public using website, conventional media outlets and social media • Created Tanglewood’s Facebook Page that now hosts over 3,000 “friends” (the largest of the county government’s social media sites) • Worked with government leaders, commissioners and park officials to create a future plan for Tanglewood Park • Handled all ad placement for Tanglewood Park and Forsyth County Parks and Recreation • Transitioned Tanglewood from internal catering department to contracts with outside caterers • Acted as Tanglewood liaison for Area Visitor Attraction Board and Forsyth County Tourism Development Authority • Prepared and distributed E-mail flyers • Wrote TV/radio public relations copy for special events and purchase newspaper and magazine ads • Issued press releases

• Maintained Best Health merchant discount program and recruited new merchants for the program • Developed Best Health Kids programming for Hanes Mall • Coordinated with local YMCA’s to provide Health Education programming featuring medical center personnel • Created community health education programs featuring medical center doctors and specialists
