As a dedicated advisor, I serve as the primary relationship manager for some of our largest performance technology members, managing project timelines and ensuring that member hospitals generate significant value from their partnership with The Advisory Board.

Health Leads envisions a healthcare system that addresses all patients’ basic resource needs as a standard part of quality care. Health Leads enables doctors and other healthcare providers to prescribe basic resources like food and heat just as they do medication and refer patients to our services just as they do any other specialty. We recruit and train college students to fill these prescriptions by working side by side with patients to connect them with the basic resources they need to be healthy.• Launched the Health Leads program at University of Maryland Medical Center in 2010. • Oversaw a 140% increase in student applications, a 65% increase in volunteer satisfaction and a 23% increase in overall resource connections.• Selected to sit on a cross-department ‘Data Reports Committee’ that worked to successfully define key actionable metrics for the organization and design easy-to-use reports for Program Managers. • Selected to sit on an organization-wide ‘Curriculum Design Committee’ that worked to craft the framework for a standardized volunteer training. Provided feedback to the lead curriculum writer and piloted training. • Managed collaboration with Baltimore City Health Department as a sub-grantee of the B'more for Healthy Babies Initiative. Facilitated weekly pre-release groups with male and female inmates on topics of addiction, recovery, and transition from prison. Sessions were part of an NIH funded research study examining the effects of initiating buprenorphine treatment prior to release for inmates suffering from addiction.

Lighthouse Studies at Peer Point is a community-based research center within the Department of Health, Behavior and Society at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Their mission is to conduct research that focuses on health promotion and disease prevention among a wide variety of populations with special emphasis on disadvantaged urban populations.• Assisted with translation of the SHIELD Intervention. The replication project involved packaging the SHIELD intervention to be utilized by CBOs. Project was funded by CDC’s ‘Replicating Effective Programs'. (www.effectiveinterventions.org/en/HighImpactPrevention/Interventions/SHIELD.aspx)• Administered in-depth research surveys to an at-risk population including current and former hard drug users, individuals reporting risky sexual behaviors and men who have sex with men.• Conducted one on one rapid HIV testing and counseling sessions and provided referrals to community supports.
