In 2015, I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in English, Media and Cultural Studies from IADT Dún Laoghaire. I have worked as a sales advisor in Marks and Spencer for over five years. Working in retail has allowed me to gain valuable skills in relation to customer service, communication, sales and design. In my previous role, I was responsible for visual merchandising in the footwear and accessories department of Marks and Spencer’s Drogheda branch in the Republic of Ireland. This allowed me to work independently in my own section while still remaining part of a large team. I have a keen interest in fashion and styling and working in retail has given me the opportunity to channel my creativity into visual merchandising. I was regularly tasked with dressing mannequins, creating large window displays and organising my section in accordance with company guidelines and seasonal phase changes. I am currently seeking a challenging and creative role as a visual merchandiser.
