About Kellie Rutledge

I have served at Monroe CMHA since June 2015. During my tenure at the agency, I have worked in the capacity of case management, Program Supervisor overseeing Medicaid waiver programs, and now as a Clinical Program Director overseeing behavioral health services to adults struggles with mental health challenges. In my current capacity of Clinical Program Director I am able to apply my social work skills to macro-level projects, including grant writing, program development and implementation, strengthening community partnerships, and using data to support strategic decision making in alignment with our Mission, Vision, and Values.I work tirelessly to develop and implement tools and strategies to better support my staff and improve efficiencies and effectiveness in the delivery of quality services to the individuals we serve. I have led and managed my team in a supportive, caring, and equitable way; ensuring expectations of their role and performance is made clear, while also encouraging an environment of teamwork, respect, and mutual accountability. As a leader, I strongly believe that there needs to be balance in the concern for both production and people – as it is only through the means of our human capital that quality and effective outcomes can be met.Educating and developing new social workers is also a passion. In addition to being an adjunct instructor at The University of Toledo teaching Introduction to Social Welfare, I developed and oversee the internship program at MCMHA and am a Field Instructor for a number of colleges and universities. It is important to me that individuals entering the profession of social work uphold a high standard of practice and are competent and confident in their work.
