Co-Founder/Executive Director
CurrentIf someone had told me that being the Executive Director of a non-profit would be this fun, I would not have believed them. As ED of L.E.A.D., it's my job to ensure that the L.E.A.D.ers in our organization are nurtured through programming that's designed to develop college bound, civically engaged, compassionate student-athletes who we fondly call Ambassadors. That would be a daunting task if it were not for the vehicle that L.E.A.D. uses to affect this change - baseball. I have the pleasure each day of sharing the great sport of baseball with the families we serve while seeing each L.E.A.D.er transformed into an amazing human being. Since L.E.A.D. was founded in 2007, we have achieved a 100% graduation and college enrollment rate while 90% of our program graduates have received college baseball scholarships to help pay for college. In 2013, we will realize our first Ambassador Graduate from college. This is not just "feel good philanthropy" - we get results because we have a methodology for youth development designed to give us measurable outcomes. We win when our student-athletes graduate from high school, finish college and become stellar citizens of our global community. L.E.A.D. is transforming the Atlanta community through baseball and having a blast while doing so. Won't you join us? Visit www.lead2legacy.org to learn more. L.E.A.D. Today...Change Tomorrow!
