Supports the Director, Operational Test and Evaluation (DOT&E) on the use of statistics in testand evaluation. Consults with fellow staff members to increase the statistical rigor of test plans and reports. Part of a team that develops guidance and provides training in an effort to institutionalize the use of design of experiments and statistical rigor across the DoD. Operational test experience includes analysis on a variety of defense systems, including computer-based intelligence systems, tactical aircraft, and satellite systems.

Solo instructor of introductory statistics courses for undergraduates of various majors. Duties include preparing all materials and lectures for the course, grading, and holding office hours. Courses taught include: STA 3032 (Applied Statistics for Engineers and Scientists)STA 2171 (Statistics for Biology)STA 1013 (Statistics through Example)

Worked with a team of medical social scientists to conduct research, analyze data, and publish papers under various grants. Topics researched include dyadic data analysis applied to parent-child survey data, and generalized estimating equations/growth curve modeling applied to blood glucose meter data from children with diabetes.

Led consultations with clients needing assistance with statistical coursework, research studies, theses, or dissertations. Topics discussed include experimental design, survey analysis, applied data analysis, interpretation of output, and statistical software. Appointed lead consultant in August 2010; duties extended to include scheduling appointments and supervising other consultants.

Compiled and processed data gathered by or for military combatants and intelligence in Afghanistan. Analyzed various relationships, trends, etc. within and among sets of data. Some of my work was briefed to troops overseas as well as a Brigadier General and his team here in the states. Used database, statistical, and spatial software such as Excel, Access, SPSS, ArcGIS, and Google Earth. Final Secret DoD Security Clearance granted June 2010.
