I always knew I would be solving problems for a living. Mathematics and music have always been my passions and embraced my natural skills. Especially my talent for critical thinking; to see how pieces fit together and impact one another. Hence why I thought my career as a software developer was a natural fit. This was until I discovered that my communication, inquiring nature, and analytical thinking kept taking me in a different direction than my ability to design and write code. I was continually the translator and facilitator for solution resolutions, becoming the go to technical lead for our business partners. This is when I realized I could make a much larger impact earlier on the in development life cycle, avoiding pains by aligning vision, embracing innovation, and reducing risks for everyone. I became determined to become a Product Manager. Once I made the move, just like when I moved to the PNW, I finally felt at home. As a Product Manager, I am able to leverage my passion for coaching, leading, organization, and continuous improvement. I now know, this is what I was meant to do.This journey has made me a versatile Product Manager with 9+ years of experience leading projects and teams through multiple methodologies for product development, including 5 years as a software and web developer. I am dedicated to providing the most competitive products for our customers by representing business stakeholders and ensuring our products are compliant, through focused delivery of technical solutions. I am highly adept in Agile principles, working across teams and areas to build effective solutions. My passion for my role has lead me to coaching and mentoring multiple Product Owners/Managers resulting in a supportive working environment that encourages healthy challenge.
