Currently I am enrolled at the University of North Texas as a materials science and engineering student. The materials science and engineering program provides rigorous mathematics, physics, and chemistry courses that produce well-rounded and prepared graduates. My coursework encompasses a variety of metallurgy, ceramics, polymers, and applied physics. I expect to graduate with a Ph. D. in materials science and engineering in May 2024.My primary goals in life involve consistent challenge and growth. Currently my education, internship, and research fulfill these goals as I pursue demanding projects and coursework that constantly improve my intelligence and perception. In the future, I plan to pursue a career in tribology. Upon completion of my degree, I will continue achieving my goals by seeking a job that involves problem-solving and active analysis. I yearn to work in a laboratory in which I will handle specialized equipment, perform experiments, prepare reports, and analyze data. New research and strategies in tribology help motivate me as I prepare for my future career. I desire work that involves teamwork, leadership, and advanced analytical skills.I am an avid learner. Once I start a project at work, home, school, or for my personal research, it is finished with efficiency and accuracy. Fast-paced environments and teamwork are ingrained in my work-style from my time spent as an intern, research assistant, barista, nursery worker, and performer. In my engineering program, large workloads, planning, development, analysis, and leadership are welcome and fulfilling challenges.
