30 + years experience in education and career development, I am passionate about empowering learners and workers to achieve their goals and aspirations. As a Career Development Officer at Trades NL, I support the recruitment and retention of Indigenous persons in the skilled trades sector, with career guidance, and mentorship. I leverage my expertise in literacy and learning and integration of computer technology to create engaging and accessible online resources for prospective and current trades workers. In addition, I was a classroom educator and Teacher Librarian at NLESD for more than three decades, where I have fostered a culture of learning, and collaboration among students and staff. I am committed to advancing equity, diversity, and inclusion in the trades and education fields, and to enhancing the skills and opportunities of diverse and talented clientele. My duties also include social media communications for three Trades NL Indigenous offices.
