• Management, strategic planning, mission and vision development, professional development, fiscal oversight (more than $1 million), and volunteer leadership development of six key, impact centric departments of the agency: Book Festival, Arts and Culture (including a theater company), Developmental Disabilities, Institute for Jewish Learning, Family Resource Center, and Senior Adults• Lead developer and planner of the 19-day Book Festival in 2011, which included the following: o Hosting 55 authors/celebrities/speakers (such as Regis Philbin, Sen. Joe Lieberman, Chris Matthews) o Engaged more than 10,000 ticket holders o Event raised $175K in grants, sponsors, and private donors (surpassed goal of $150K) o Managed logistics and program staff o Engaged more than 200 volunteers in leadership capacities in 16 different committees• Obtained 19 new community partnerships resulting in an increase of revenue (10%), community exposure and credibility, and agency membership• Re-developed the mission, vision, strategies for implementation, level of impact, and community exposure of 3 departments with successful results, exceeding benchmarks• Lead professional for 4 programmatic and fundraising boards• Supervised 7 direct reports and 5 additional indirect reports
