Promoted during Cradlepoint’s integration into Ericsson, I led the transition from Cradlepoint’s brand to Ericsson’s, guiding brand adoption across the division through education and implementation support. I collaborated closely with corporate counterparts in Sweden to align on design and brand architecture and developed a tailored enterprise brand strategy that differentiated the “enterprise” division from carrier services while upholding corporate brand integrity. Leading a creative team within Digital Marketing, I focused on Demand Generation, Product Marketing, and Events, while also supporting broader marketing and company initiatives. To manage high stakeholder demand effectively, I established an agency-style model that scaled creative support efficiently.

As Senior Creative Manager, I manage a design team within the marketing department in a fast-paced technology company. I strategize with all teams across marketing to execute brand consistency for various campaigns and support field marketers in emerging markets as we expand our international footprint. Ensuring strict brand adherence for the rapidly growing company is of incredible importance. I filter, distribute and art direct incoming design requests to the design team with emphasis on assigning to the right skillset and also aiming to keep the team inspired and balanced.

As the primary designer on the marketing team, my role consists heavily of web design and site maintenance in a deadline-driven, fast-paced position. I also play a significant role in product launches—from product photo shoots to creation and launch of landing pages and supporting collateral. I collaborate with team members to execute campaigns consisting of all forms of print and web material. I manage the overall quality of the brand and ensure standards are met for any creative deliverables by third-party agencies and the staff junior designer.

I made the decision to become an independent contractor to work with smaller businesses in a more direct and intimate manner and to push my career in a whole new direction. The variety of projects and clients challenges me with a broader scope of creativity. My local clients have included: CradlePoint, Boise Co-Op, Big City Coffee & Cafe, AMRAP Nutrition, and Vooluu.com, as well as brand development for numerous small start-up businesses.

As part of the Marketing Team at Bodybuilding.com, I worked on a large array of designs mediums from web banners, print ads, email campaigns, site design and simple HTML development, large format pieces for booth displays, as well as packaging and clothing design. During my time with the company, I was promoted to Senior Designer and managed a small team of designers, reporting directly to the VP of Marketing.

One of my greatest accomplishments as Webmaster for IDWR was transitioning the agency from their old website to an updated look with the new state mandated template. IDWR was one of the first and largest agencies to meet this requirement. In this position, I managed a team who contributed content to the website, helping ensure state guidelines continued to be met and that functionality remanined organized and intuitive. My duties also encompassed print and other digital design, creating a consistent and universal identity for the agency.

As a Graphic Designer, I worked in a team environment to formulate concepts for direct mail pieces for Hewlett-Packard, one of the company's largest clients. One of my most successful pieces was awarded a Gold Addy at the AAF and a Chrystal Award with Highest Honors from the DMA in the 2009 Houston competitions. Other design tasks included print pieces and logos for many local clients. I later progressed to Interactive Designer, designing websites, programming emails, and creating Flash CD/DVD interfaces. I held the title of creative lead for numerous projects, organizing team meetings and ensuring projects were on task to meet deadline requirements.

As the sole designer for the agency, I was involved in a multitude of projects from monthly internal newsletters for Albertsons; print materials, billboards, and logos for local hospitals and banks; and designing and developing websites for a range of clientele. Working closely with the Interactive Director, I was able to fine-tune my HTML skills that forged the way for my future interactive positions.

Primarily a photography studio, Tri-Digital shot images for the advertising purposes of Albertsons' grocery chain. My tasks included creating clipping paths around product shots that would appear in newspaper advertisements, laying out and formatting copy for newspaper inserts, and designing monthly informational pieces that were featured in each department within Albertsons grocery stores.
