As an entrepreneurial educator and community consultant, I have provided transformational leadership in higher education, K-12 schools, and rural communities. I empowered committees and workgroups to select and implement community-wide high-risk behavior prevention strategies, workplace drug-prevention and tobacco control programs, youth leadership empowerment programs, strategic plans, social marketing campaigns, and environmental change strategies. I supervised and built the capacity of grassroots coalition staff and provided financial and managerial oversight to the 501(c)3 non-profit corporation.
