About Kelly Crewse

I am an Instructional Assistant at the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis Preschool. I help manage the classroom, classroom schedules, lesson plans, and other daily tasks as needed. I am one of the main people who coordinate with the parents to ensure a well-maintained classroom. I have assisted in the on-boarding and training of co-workers; Delegating tasks, assessing importance level of tasks and assigning teaching roles that will yield the best outcome for all. Prior to the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis Preschool, I was a lead teacher at For Your Child Preschool in Chicago, IL. I was also a Lead Education Specialist at Science Central, an interactive science museum in Fort Wayne, Indiana. There I was the Lead Teacher for the summer, winter, and spring all-day camps where I created lesson plans and managed classrooms of up to 25 using a variety of management techniques.I graduated from Indiana University with a major in Anthropology. I am engaging, sociable, flexible to change and adaptable in fast moving environments, and a great team player. I am passionate about education and my curiosity for new experiences and knowledge drives me.
