Director Of Learning Programs
Canadian Business Senseability
Toronto
My job is to create, deliver and monitor the effectiveness of learning programs to our member network which includes Air Canada, Borden Ladner Gervais, CBC-Radio/Canada, IBM, Maple Lodge Farms Norton Rose Fulbright, RBC, and Scotiabank, to build an inclusive culture. This is a combination of building awareness, training, sharing best practices and often dispelling myths related to disability and employment. The communications and training are delivered through an array of formats - panels, webinars, live events, infographics, and in person presentations/training. My favourite is always in-person group training because it gives me the opportunity to learn from the group's expertise, while sharing what I know.I am delighted to also work with colleges and non-member organizations to discuss topics such as disclosure, work-integrated learning, and building a better customer journey. I delivered presentations and HRPA webinars to employers across Ontario on behalf of the Chamber of Commerce for the DiscoverAbility project, at the Ontario Accessibility Innovation Showcase, and the CASE (Canadian Association of Supported Employment) and Cannexus national conferences; co-delivered a national webinar to CAFCE (Canadian Association for Cooperative Education), as well as presenting to the Ontario Professional Ticketing Association, the Rotman School of Business, Cannexus, Empower McGill, Durham College, Humber College, Seneca College and Concordia University.
