The Business Analyst works to ensure changes to business functions, processes, financials, people, and organizational structure are optimized with information and technology to support business strategy. • Use facilitation skills to elicit requirements from cross functional teams at all levels of the organization.• Conduct elicitation sessions to gain an understanding of the business problem being addressed.• Analyze, specify, and create detailed requirements definition documentation which may include process flows, user interface mock-ups, reports, and data models.• Conduct requirement validation sessions to gain approval from business and technical stakeholders.• Facilitate workshops with employees from all levels within the organization to identify and implement process improvement opportunities• Evaluate and present recommendations for process improvement initiatives.• Re-engineer processes to ensure that customer needs are met, and efficient processes are delivered.• Validate proposed technical designs to ensure alignment with business needs.• Develop test plans, test cases, and traceability to ensure high quality products are delivered; manage the defect remediation process.• Provide project support during release and implementation periods.• Assist users to document processes and procedures for using and supporting delivered solution.• Understand and follow DHP’s Solution Delivery and Project methodologies• Collaborate with business stakeholders, leadership, vendors and IT staff to resolve issues.• Translate assignments received in the form of objectives to specific tasks and milestones.• Influence policy and procedure within the business analysis and project management teams, including leadership of process improvement initiatives.
