I am currently a Bachelor of Commerce student at The University of Canterbury majoring in accounting. I am looking forward to finishing up my studies in June of this year and looking forward to beginning my career in accounting.I have worked in customer service roles since the age of 18 which have given me the opportunity to grow a range of skills such as communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills. I have volunteered for the Cystic Fibrosis foundation for charity events and am the treasurer for UC women's wellbeing club.I am a social person and enjoy working as part of a team but I can also work independently. I am passionate about sustainability and social equity. I would like to find a career where I can grow and progress my skills to help others within a company that is also conscious of looking after the environment. I am excited to learn more about the accounting industry and being able to contribute towards it. I am looking to grow my network, and looking to gain work experience.
