As the Director of Traffic and Production, I keep all teams and individuals within Second Story Media on track with deliverables and deadlines. I also work to maintain a steady flow of communication and productivity throughout the agency.

Second Story Media is a student-run media agency at Appalachian State University. We are dedicated to the community of Boone and helping local businesses and non-profits with their media-related needs. As the strategy director, I lead and work alongside a team to execute creative strategic initiatives that drive business growth and audience engagement. My team works to keep our clients' media presence adaptable and competitive.• Elected to executive board of Second Story Media.• Clients include Carolina West Wireless, Bark Mobile, The Children's Playhouse and Benevolist.• Led a team of 12 peers in a semester-long strategy campaign for Bark Mobile. During this campaign, conducted market research to drive strategies and created buyer personas to analyze consumer behavior. Built rebranding campaign after discovering problems with their current branding. It consisted of six new branding kits, each including new logos, company names, taglines, fonts, social media handles, and website domains. Presented our strategy to the Head of Marketing for Bark Mobile, resulting in a pitch campaign to its President.• Led a team of four during CreateAthon, a pro-bono, 24-hour marathon where participants assist local businesses by creating communications campaigns. Collaborated with the Appalachian Theatre for its two New Years Eve events where we created two logos, social media flyers, a press release, and a final client presentation. The client implemented our deliverables for the event and our logos are still visible on its website.
