Cypress provides a personalized curriculum and learning for children with Autism and similar disabilities. I was able to help teach students to communicate values, ideas, beliefs, opinions, needs and wants freely. Educated students in a one-on-one setting for appropriate skills that are useful immediately and in the future. Students access the community on a daily basis. Therefore I was able to assist students in dance, gymnastics, community garden, equine therapy, and cooking. Implemented Individual Education Plans with students and teachers. Created vestibular and proprioceptive activities to increase input where it was needed. Lastly, helped students use technology as a form of communication.
