Joy & Laughter Developmental Therapy is a small pediatric private practice which works which children and their families to achieve independence in childhood. We provide occupational therapy, speech therapy, feeding programs, handwriting programs, and social groups to children aged 0-15 years of age.
We offer services in English and Spanish as well as both during the week and on the weekends. We hope to expand our practice to include physical therapy, behavior therapy, early intervention and respite care in the new year.
We work with children with neurological, physical, and developmental delays to develop the skills of childhood. All members of the therapy team work together to help make learning skills fun and enjoyable. We use a trans-disciplinary approach which helps children gain the most from each session.
Funding for therapy can come from many places. We work with insurance companies both directly and indirectly to pay for services. We will either submit claims directly to the insurance company or will provide a "super bill" that the family can submit. We also have clients who receive services from various agencies such as SARC (San Andres regional center)
