-- Co-authored an article with Dr. Chris Gibson and Dr. Abigail Fagan ("Avoiding violent victimization among youths in urban neighborhoods: The importance of street efficacy") which would later be published in the American Journal of Public Health, a journal which has an impact factor of 3.930 and is ranked #4 out of 136 titles in public, environmental and occupational health.-- Assisted the synthesis of multiple articles examining the relationship between gang membership and violent victimization among youth. Concluded that propensity score matching is an integral tool in determining whether joining a gang predicts violent victimization.
