Coordinator and designer for all executive presentations and official documents.

At Seasons Bistro and Grille, I was given a multitude of tasks that I needed to achieve within a particular time frame. I became the manager of the restaurant’s Facebook, and developed an Instagram account to engage with potential customers and food lovers. I also worked with the restaurant’s Google Plus, Trip Advisor, and Yelp pages for a brief amount of time. Since I began with Seasons, I have increased the traffic on their Facebook page and increased the amount of page likes. There is also a growing amount of followers on Instagram – the current number is 360. One of my primary tasks are to directly interact with customers by engaging in conversation through social media and becoming the voice of the Seasons Bistro and Grille brand. I worked on the aesthetic aspects of Seasons’ online presence by creating and designing an entirely new website (through weebly.com) and providing visual content. To date, I have taken all promotional photographs for Seasons, which I edit and upload onto the social media outlets and website (seasonsbistroandgrille.com). I also had the chance of creating a new layout for weekly emails on Constant Contact and I designed multiple new menus for Seasons Bistro and Grille, including the Valentine’s Day Menu, Dinner Menu, Lunch Menu, Kids’ Menu, Drink Menu and various promotional bar materials. Lastly, I work with event promotion of the annual Beer and Wine Throwdowns, creating posters, emails, and posts, as well as the competition of “The Best of the Best” in Springfield, Ohio.

This nonprofit organization came to me asking for help creating an online presence that would boost their class numbers. I created a simple business plan to utilize email, Facebook, and LinkedIn. I worked to create a more distinct brand with members of the organization and taught them how to implement their new brand throughout every post or email they composed. To help put this business plan into action, I created content for scheduled Facebook posts. Unfortunately, the company decided to close shortly after my time with them.

In the Business Office of Wittenberg University, I worked with confidential information and many important tasks on a daily basis. One of my various roles included the auditing of faculty, staff, and senior administrators’ purchasing cards. I ran monthly reports of the General Ledger and completed General Ledger and check reconciliations. I also entered general journal entries and vouchers, and had the responsibility of filing and disposing of nonessential paperwork.

The Integrated Media Corps is an application based program that allows students interested in media production to intern with the Office of University Communications at Wittenberg University to gain field experience. During this internship, I provided media coverage for various campus events, such as sporting events and art related programs, and wrote at least 10 press releases published on the University’s website. I shot, edited, and updated Wittenberg’s mascot’s Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter accounts over twenty times. As a student liaison between the group and over fifteen guest speakers, I designed customized “Thank You” cards and wrote personalized notes on behalf of the Integrated Media Corps. I also filmed, edited, and produced four highlight videos, and wrote, recorded, edited and produced six radio commercials in a tight time frame.
