I am a Senior Business Analytics major passionate about how data is increasingly driving decision-making in our world. I believe that data sets provide us with a "crystal ball" to look at based on patterns in data we can analyze and apply to future problems. It is this team-based problem-solving process that led me to my major, and the part of my work I most enjoy.In the Summer of 2021, I had the pleasure to work for Citi as an Enterprise and Operations Technology Summer Analyst. This opportunity to engage and work with technology professionals at such a large company gave me the insight I needed to change my major from Mechanical Engineering to Data Analytics. The finance industry in particular piqued my interest as its technology needs are evolving more quickly than at any other time in history. The teams that assist this evolution interest me greatly, as they are pioneering a new data and privacy frontier in the finance industry.Furthermore, with a background in leadership from previous work experiences, such as managing a city pool in Texas and university organizations, I am comfortable working in team environments and enjoy doing so.
