In 2019 I relocated to Texas for better work opportunities. It was during this time that I worked for Bill Miller BBQ and Chick-Fil-A, which created a foundation of excellent customer service.In 2020 I worked as an Administrative Assistant for Alamo Area Council of Governments, and carried out administrative duties for the Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities department. I obtained my HIPPA certification during my time at AACOG. Here I learned that I had a passion for helping others in need of assistance.In 2021 I began to seek out more education opportunities. As such, I enrolled in an Entry to Human Resources class by Dynamic Advancement. I received certification as a Human Resources Specialist in April of 2021. Not only did I earn my EHR certification through the class, but I also earned my OSHA-10, and Professional Diversity and Inclusion certifications. I am still searching for ways to improve my skills to this day.In June of 2021, I began working at Mercedes Benz of San Antonio as a Service Greeter. I learned a great deal about how cars work during my time in this position. I discovered a newfound passion for cars, and for the Mercedes Benz brand! From there, I was promoted to Lead Product Specialist in the sales department. Most recently in August of 2022, I began my new career in roofing at A-Lert Roof Systems as Lead Business Development and Product Specialist. This is where I have obtained my Remote Pilot Certificate under Part 107 off the FAA. Not only do I use SUA's in my work, but I hope to carry this as a hobby.In such a short time I have gone through great lengths to create a better future and career for myself. My goal is to keep moving up, and eventually land in management or sales.
