Oversees the quality of care delivered to patients within the PHP and IOP levels of care. Responsible for providing psychotherapy and counseling therapies, including group, individual, and family therapy for patients suffering from psychiatric and substance abuse issues. The therapist also ensures accurate and timely patient documentation.

- Co-facilitate intensive outpatient group for two and half hours a day, four days a week- Learn and incorporate dialectical behavioral therapy into group and individual therapy- Study psychodynamic therapy and learn practical application of theory in a therapeutic setting- Attend weekly staffing meetings to discuss clientele and address any administrative issues- Conduct individual therapy sessions with members of IOP group to provide additional support- Attend and observe parent support group for adults whose children are receiving therapy services- Make authorization, single case agreement, and any other insurance related phone calls needed for client coverage- Take clinical notes during therapy sessions (individual and group) and file them appropriately within a client's file- Conduct intake assessments and make clinical suggestions to potential clients with assistance from a clinical supervisor- Co-facilitate aftercare and supplementary therapy groups for clients stepping down from services- Observe family and couples therapy sessions- Gain specific experience with young adult (18 to 24 years old) populations and young professional (24 to 35 years old) populations
