As a Field Engineer 2 at Kiewit, I apply my mechanical engineering skills and knowledge to various civil construction projects. I work with a team of engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure the quality, safety, and efficiency of the project execution and delivery. I also coordinate with the project managers, estimators, and schedulers to monitor and report the project progress and performance.I graduated from the University of Massachusetts Lowell with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 2020, where I developed a strong foundation in mathematics, physics, materials, kinematics, thermodynamics, and computer-aided design. After college, I started working at MAS Building and Bridge with the Steel Division as a Project Engineer in 2020. Through my time there I focused on pre-construction planning in order to help set each new project or success, adhering to our scope of work. and maintaining our AISC certification by thoroughly reviewing and improving our QC program. In 2023 I became an estimator for MAS and with my knowledge from the field I was able to accurately forecast needed manpower and resources for each job. My passion for engineering stems from my curiosity and creativity in solving problems and creating solutions. My goal is to continue learning and growing as a professional engineer and to contribute to the advancement of the engineering field and the society.
