O-I Asia Pacific

• Accountable for the successful execution of multiple concurrent major brownfield furnace expansion, furnace rebuild, hot repair, automation and site relocation projects across Asia Pacific. • Developed with the project team the project business cases, work scopes, estimates, and required project plans following the PMBOK guidelines, ensuring a robust process is followed for successful project delivery.• Responsible for managing the entire project team, including all technical disciplines, administration, contractors, and consultants. This involved managing, and coordinating vendors and teams located across multiple continents, through all project phases.• Supported project team with permit application and approval process. This involved extensive negotiations with local governments departments, including, gas, electricity, fire, buildings, and emissions.• Managed project schedules, activities, resources, budgets and forecasting in SAP. This Included preparing and presenting weekly project reports to the board of directors of two multinational organisations.

O-I Asia Pacific

• Global process control team member, the team was responsible for setting and driving the technical direction for control systems, control strategies, instrumentation, and obsolescence plans for all facilities globally.• Accountable for the execution of all phases of the electrical, instrumentation and controls (EI&C) of multiple major furnace expansion, furnace rebuild, new production line and automation projects at all 10 manufacturing facilities across Asia Pacific. • Responsible for selection and management of EI&C engineering consultants and construction teams to complete all works in accordance with the business and local regulatory requirements.• Provided technical support to all manufacturing facilities in Asia Pacific, including attending site to resolve technical issues which required urgent support.

O-I Melbourne

• Responsible for maintaining and providing technical support for all control systems, PLC, DCS, HMI, SCADA, instrumentation, and network infrastructure from batch and furnace to packaging and inspection, including all systems in between.• Accountable for repairs and maintenance budget and implementation of SAP maintenance plans. Including supervising engineering trades teams to implement maintenance plans and perform fault finding activities.• Managed minor capital projects, including energy monitoring and improvement projects, control system and SCADA upgrades, and site demolition. Developed and implemented facility energy management system in accordance with ISO 14001 requirements.• Engineering representative of the plant environmental committee. LSS Black Belt project team member, Pathways to Leadership and Competitive Manufacturing team leader.

• Responsible for performing maintenance and fault-finding activities on electrical, instrumentation and control (EI&C) systems across the entire facility. In addition, perform minor programming, installation and repair works as required.
