Overseeing as many as 330+ cross-functional technicians who supported preventive maintenance and repair needs for 26 F-16 aircraft and critical equipment valued up to $1.1B, I led a team of 4 production managers and 6 supervisors who established daily maintenance priorities on the fast-paced, deadline-driven flight line to ensure the successful launch and recovery of aircraft within daily flight schedules. My featured accomplishments include:➟ Handpicked for a 5-person special task force, I worked with the Goldratt Group on a multimillion-dollar contract that identified resource shortages, recommended improvements and coordinated with engineers to streamline processes up to 62%, returned 48-52 weekly hours and reduced delayed discrepancies by 63%. ✩ Despite a 15% aircraft shortage and 35% increase in demand, I completed all flying operations and met or exceeded customer requirements by building interagency relationships, efficient planning and scheduling.✓ Ensuring sufficient training, skills, equipment and supplies were provided to my team, I clearly communicated and upheld standards of quality and safety that led to the completion of 16K+ annual maintenance tasks with a 100% maintenance scheduling effectiveness rate.

My 34-person team inspected 1,300 technicians who specialized in equipment maintenance. I coordinated the delegation of all annual inspections to enforce and communicate technical directives, operating instructions, quality standards and OSHA safety rules. After reviewing all QA failures, I validated negative reports, evaluated key performance indicators (KPIs) and determined the root cause of any issues. Highlights of my contributions include:➟ Improving the QA pass rate by as much as 13%, I collaborated with the inspection team that scripted realistic training exercises, assessed performance, prepared reports and suggested changes.✩ As a mentor and manager of the FOD program, I conducted over-the-shoulder inspections and advised personnel in how to balance a sense of urgency, quality and safety to meet customer’s production goals. ✓ I validated technicians’ compliance with technical data, assessed their ability to provide flight-ready, safe aircraft, recognized positive and negative trends, recommended corrective actions when applicable and advised leadership with regular reports, presentations and status updates.

I led a team of 81 technicians and oversaw maintenance production, created plans, identified daily priorities, delegated tasks and ensured on-time completion that complied with technical directives, quality standards and safety guidelines. My featured success includes:♘ When quickly rolling out new program equipment capabilities, I communicated with end-users, engineers and product specialists to define requirements, develop solutions, bridge capability gaps, create technical specifications and determine training or policy needs.✩ As a mentor, coach and advisor for technicians, I discovered training or policy deficiencies and revised programs to improve performance, ensured team buy-in and held personnel accountable for their actions and overall performance.♘ To develop strategic plans, I analyzed and interpreted key performance indicators (KPIs), identified the root cause of recurring issues, pinpointed staffing imbalances, forecasted supply chain and logistics requirements and made recommendations that optimized fleet sustainment.

As the facilitator of a 2-month class for new hire orientation, I explained policies, procedures, expectations and leadership structure. I taught up to 3K students as part of a 355-person instruction team that educated 36K annual new recruits as their introduction to the Air Force. Highlights of my contributions include:✩ I handled all types of HR situations such as discipline, performance coaching and counseling while maintaining confidential personal information in accordance with HIPAA and Privacy Act regulations.✓ To engage a large and diverse group of adult learners, I coordinated with the team that authored and implemented curriculum, course materials, policies and procedures, incorporated lectures, hands-on and computer-based training (CBT) and evaluated ongoing effectiveness.✩ Ensuring qualified personnel, I mentored and coached students, built trust and respect and inspired them to comply with standard operating procedures (SOP), policies and regulations while exceeding expectations.

I performed mechanical, functional and operational inspections by leveraging expert knowledge of repair, disassembly, modification, assembly, testing, troubleshooting and installation of aircraft components and systems in order to determine the condition of all equipment and ensure serviceability. Upon discovering systems errors, I diagnosed faults and mitigated any issues.
