My time with NFIB was demanding, rewarding, and full of exceptional experiences managing the interests of a huge organization within the realm of public policy. As the sole lobbyist, I spent many hours in negotiations, meetings, town halls, and in front of the media and government forums advocating for small businesses and laws that would benefit.

As a legislative chief of staff, I was responsible for managing every aspect of the legislators’ Capitol and District offices, including personnel, budget, legislation, communications, scheduling, and constituent affairs. I was chosen as one of eighteen Fellows from a worldwide applicant pool, gaining extraordinary insight into the legislative and policy processes.
