My role at Crowe is a mixture of applied machine learning and software engineering. My projects have been diverse and include a character based CNN model, an XGBoost model, a T-SQL data pipeline, and several high performance computing projects.

In my role at Purdue I gained extensive experience in all phases of the data mining and machine learning process. Responsibilities included data preparation, data cleaning, data exploration, model development, hyper-parameter tuning, cross validation, model evaluation and ultimately model selection. Worked with a large, unstructured dataset consisting of over 100 billions rows and over 300 million records added per day. My responsibilities with regard to this dataset included parsing, joining, manipulating, aggregating, analyzing and creating production jobs to run daily. In addition to standard aggregate features, I also created unique, useful and interesting features via multiple neural network formulations. My job responsibilities focused around a web application and associated database. Primary duties consisted of development and support. Beginning with requirements gathering followed by design, implementation, testing, deployment and maintenance. My design responsibilities included: database, persistence code, business tier and presentation.
