As a Lab Technical Specialist at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, I support the Transplant Medicine department by performing and interpreting complex immunogenetic tests. I work with a team of experts to ensure the quality and accuracy of the results, and to troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise. I have a passion for human medicine and a strong background in cell biology, which I developed during my undergraduate studies at the University of Missouri-Columbia. There, I also gained valuable research experience as a Research Assistant, where I analyzed computational data for zoonotic diseases. I am motivated by the potential of immunogenetics to improve the outcomes and lives of transplant patients, and I aspire to continue learning and growing in this field.
