Provides reporting and dashboard solutions for clients in the Pharmaceutical industry in both Qlik and Power BI. Leads requirements gathering to focus on client needs and drive engagement with data, and manages the day to day project workflow via Kanban and Agile methodologies. Strives for continual improvement in efficiency and clarity of our processes through internal projects and knowledge sharing.As part of my project work I have worked on everything from incremental improvements to full dashboard conversions from Qlik to Power BI, as well as QlikView to Qlik Sense. I work with a cross functional team that typically involves both Developers as well as Web Developers for Qlik Sense Mashups, and am deeply involved in all aspects of the project as the primary person responsible for refining the backlog and directing our development efforts according to the client's needs.I've involved myself in multiple internal improvement initiatives as our company continues to grow. I've built an end to end Power BI training/demo application for use in training other BIAs on how to use this tool and to serve as a demonstration of our capabilities for external clients. I've worked on creating and refining multiple SOPs as we've explored new strategies and workflows, as well as provided mentorship for peers as they began working on more complex projects with newer technologies.

Primary Duties:Worked as a contract Business Analyst in Voice and Mobile Services for a Fortune 200 company. Primary duties were operational and financial reporting, creating quarterly business reviews to report the state of the business to leadership, light project management, UAT for new implementations and upgrades, auditing vendor reporting to catch discrepancies and improve the quality of data metrics, as well as creating and managing documentation of system workflows, SOPs, team activities, and any other relevant information. Projects of Note:Assisted with a Voice Services RFP by developing project timelines, formulating RFP requirements, reviewing and scoring vendor responses, and using financial analysis to assess the budgetary impact of moving to a new provider.Also assisted with a Mobile Services RFP to provide similar services, including financial analysis of a current rate plan mix vs converting users to unlimited plans to eliminate the necessity of optimization and backdating to avoid usage overages.Project tracking for a Global Internal Security Audit where I was responsible for tracking due dates of various action plans and coordination with key resources to meet stated objectives of enhancing and hardening our security response to meet novel phishing attempts and targeted malicious attacks.Participated in a system integration project to allow communication between corporate and supplier ITSM systems and eliminate the in place swivel chair solution.

As a contractor for the State of Colorado Dept. of Labor and Employment I was responsible for the data gathering and analysis to produce a report for the Colorado State Senate on the software in use across over 20 state agencies. Working with Sys Admins from all agencies I collated and analyzed logs from all of our systems to create a comprehensive categorization system and an understanding of the function of all software in use by the State from grant writing systems, to museum curation software, drone mapping software, sophisticated traffic modeling and accident analysis software, and more.As part of this report I also provided analyses on version creep across the State's agencies, which was later used in targeted updating of their software as part of security hardening exercises. Information from the report was also used to assist with price and license negotiations by helping to identify common software packages across different agencies that could be bundled together.The role was initially in-office for a fixed term contract, where I delivered the resulting report in 80% of the allotted time. I was called back for two consecutive years to create updated versions of the report with additional analysis requests added in as the data set was matured and understanding of the data value increased.

SUMPURA Analytics was an analytics and management consulting company based out of Chicago, primarily focused on the Supply Chain space.A notable project from my time was adapting an existing MEIO model from a previous SUMPURA pilot project with the client company to create an optimization for an entire product line within their North American operations. We used statistical methods such as Histograms and multi-variate Pareto charts to analyze customer demand, factors of production, and the ability of the client to satisfy that demand within the desired time frame, and then combined this with forecast modeling to ensure that the right inventory was in the right place at the right time to minimize customer wait time and expensive overnight shipping to satisfy SLAs. This project resulted in a recommendation plan that would reduce overall inventory levels by $2-7 million dollars while also decreasing customer lead time and achieving a 15-20% higher first pass fill rate, which was presented to the client within the specified project time frame.For another project we conducted on-site vists to various re-manufacturing plants to evaluate them and provide recommendations for improvements in several categories such as Safety, 5S, Quality, Availability, Sustainability, and Cost. This entailed taking over 400 photographs, each with detailed annotations, for each facility and compiling them into a large report to be presented to the client's senior leadership, as well as additional follow-up visits to plants to go over our findings in detail with their teams and recommended next steps to maximize operational efficiency and take advantage of competitive advantages inherent in their different plants to better direct their work.
