Responsible for the network, server, desktop, printing, phone and related technologies. Transformed outdated systems into an environment that would allow the company to grow and expand. Implemented a physical dual server redundant virtual environment with both an onsite and cloud backup solution. Migrated from G Suite for Business to Microsoft Office 365 and implemented a Microsoft Lync Enterprise voice phone solution. Provide on-going end-user support including training for all implemented technologies. Manage and negotiate external vendor relationships and contracts. Work with external clients to determine appropriate routing of data and provided custom data manipulation and reporting. Implemented technologies to streamline the shipping processes. Work with the President and other key personnel to determine and execute the IT direction.

Directed the Information Technology department and all related technologies in a rapidly growing and expanding distribution, service, and remanufacturing business. The IT department maintains oversight of workstations, servers, wired and wireless networks, security, IP telephony system, application and web development, and the Epicor ERP system. Built the IT department and infrastructure from the ground up. Managed and grew the IT department as the company experienced double digit revenue growth each year and grew from one facility with 45 employees to three facilities with over 175 employees. Successfully implemented a new ERP system and transitioned acquired companies over to the Company’s ERP system. Provided end user training of the ERP system and all other technologies used at the company. Oversee and mentor a staff of five employees. Partner with business unit managers on data management and reporting, including report design and maintenance. Develop and manage department operational and capital budgets. Work with both internal and external clients to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget. Manage many external vendor relationships and contract negotiations. Work with the executive team to provide the IT vision for the company.

Manage all aspects of client-server and web-based projects. Work with internal and external clients to gather and document the system requirements, design the system, develop the functional, data, and system specifications, assess risk, develop and monitor the project budget, design, document, and coordinate detailed testing and validation procedures, coordinate the system implementation, and maintain detailed documentation ensuring projects are completed within budget, on-time, and in compliance with all company SOPs. Work with IS resources and other managers to coordinate IS and administrative tasks.

Design, develop, and support client-server computer applications. Application development using Visual Basic 6.0, Visual Basic.NET, ASP.NET, C, and VXML. Oracle database design, configuration, and management using Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM). Database report design and creation using Crystal Reports.

Human resource analyst working with an SAP R/3 system. Programming and support of the company’s payroll and benefits system using ABAP programming language.

Designed and wrote the installation programs that installed the new agency data system onto the various agent and training computers. Provided customer support to the agents in the field.
