Carrying out and certifying Repairs, Overhaul, Inspections, Testing and modifications on various Avionics Equipment especially Batteries, Power Units, Emergency Power Units, Fire Detectors and Elements, ELT's, Pitot Static Heads, Accelerometers and many other Equipment in the Repaero Capability List.All above are Dual certified to EASA and Canadian certification.

OCT 2017 TO PRESENT DATE: VECTOR AEROSPACEAVIONICS LICENCED ENGINEERResponsibilities:• Carrying out the required “Return to Service” Avionics maintenance of Airbus Helicopters H225 and H215’s from storage as directed by Vector CAMO and customers.• Embodiment of all Mandatory Modifications and Service Bulletins required to Return to Service from storage of Large fleet of customer helicopter both H225s and H215s.• Carrying out Avionics Maintenance and ensuring airworthiness of Vector Aerospace fleet of Helicopters.Achievements:• Involved in the Avionics maintenance required to return one of the first H225 to “Flying Status” in the UK

Responsibilities:* Supervising a staff of ten Avionics Engineers* “Hands on” maintenance, OJT and classroom training of local staff and avionics maintenance planning for a fleet of Eurocopter SA330J, AS332C/L1 (VIP Config.), AS550C3 and EC225LP. (VIP Config.)* Health and Monitoring Systems* Supervision and maintenance of Avionics workshopRole equipment workshop i.e. FLIR Saphire 2, Nightsun SX16, military/weapons equipment. Battery workshop. * Preparation and installation of various avionics modifications and Service Bulletins.* Preparation and organizing of avionics logistics, manpower and documents especially for detachments to various mobile and fixed outstations in Oman pertaining to special VIP operations.* Giving Technical assistance to C.A.M.O. Quality Assurance and Flight Safety Departments.Achievements: *On the job training of The Royal Airforce Avionics engineers on the avionics systems of the SA 330J and AS332C/L1 helicopters prior to the handover of these helicopters to the Royal Air Force Oman. *Over eight months detachment to the helicopter technical services department to assist in all aspects of technical services during a period of low manpower in their department. *Acceptance of the new helicopters EC225 LP's and AS550 C3 from Eurocopter at Marignane and introduction into the Omani system. *Involved in setting up and monitoring of the Eurocopter M'ARMS Health and monitoring system. *Preparation and setting up operating procedures for VVIP Multi-Weapons System Eurocopters MWS-20 (Damien), detection and ALKAN/MBDA ELIPS NG system.

Responsibilities: Supervising a staff of four avionics engineers with the Supervision of avionics and battery workshops and procedures. Controlled the Avionic planning and “hands on” maintenance for a fleet of Bell 206, 212, 412 SP/HP/EP, helicopters including preparation, procurement and installation of various avionics modifications. Control of avionics logistics.Achievements: Preparation for the introduction of Qatar DCAM 145, following the guidelines of JAA/JAR 145. Design, implementation and updating major and minor modifications to company helicopters. * Introduction of avionics capability listing and standard procedure manuals.

Responsibilities: Supervising a staff of twelve avionics engineers. Deputising for senior avionics engineer in his absence. Including avionics maintenance planning for a fleet of Sikorsky S61Ns and SA365N. “Hands on” maintenance and training of local staff on aircraft and workshop procedures. Installation of modifications. Control of avionics logistics. Achievements: Introducing and maintaining line, hangar and workshop procedures for conversion to JAR 145. With QA engineer obtained JAR 145 certification. Re-organised avionics stores. Installation of the Bristow / Plessey “Health and Usage monitoring system” on fleet of S61N's. Service retrieval and analysis of daily downloaded aircraft data. Design and implementation of minor modifications to company aircraft. Involved in two year plan to completely overhaul/rewire and modify avionics systems on S61N's.

Liaising with CAA Surveyors to obtain C of A's for Import and Export for Aircraft returning and departing to overseas operations and the approvals/certification for major and minor modifications embodied on company aircraft. Liaising with Drawing Office for initiating and implementation of major modifications. Planning for and ordering of logistics for maintenance, Inspections and Modifications. * Supervising various number of avionics staff (depending on operation/location). Provide Avionics Licence cover at a large number of the companies overseas and UK operations.Achievements: Planning and implementation of major modifications and inspections including conversion of S61N and Bell 212 helicopters to full radio coupled S.A.R.
