I am a recent Honors graduate of Sheridan College's Game Level Design program. I was fortunate to be selected as the winner of the Ubisoft NEXT level design competition and currently work at Ubisoft Toronto as a level designer full time. This experience has offered me the privilege of working with amazing level designers, artists in the triple A game space. I have gained experience in the Snowdrop engine and have worked on two different team projects, it has been a fantastic opportunity. I personally enjoy many different genres and game styles but especially enjoy, action-adventure, RPGs, first person shooters, and metroidvanias, even more so if they have fantasy & medieval themes. Some of my favorite game franchises include The Legend of Zelda, Splinter Cell, FarCry, Bioshock, Mount & Blade, Runescape, Call of Duty, Counter Strike, and many others. Prior to joining the Sheridan program, I have enjoyed a career as a Graphic Artist with a marketing and advertising undergraduate designation. I chose to embark on the career change to follow my passion for game & level design. This background gives me the added advantage of in-depth knowledge of many programs like Photoshop and Illustrator. As I have been in the gaming industry I have become quite familiar with Unity 2D & 3D, Unreal Engine, Maya and now Ubisoft's Snowdrop engine. I find games intriguing and solving puzzles and crafting stories extremely enjoyable. I love creating this experience for others to enjoy. I love exploring new places and with game level design I find the research into new spaces and adding the detail that makes a space feel real a rewarding experience. I am a well-rounded level designer with an artistic background and strong story-telling skills ready to learn and expand my skills.
