Responsible for providing leadership for managing all functions for multiple college bookstores in the Louisiana, Ohio and Pennsylvania area. Daily activities included managing budgets, monitoring financial goals, maintaining service levels and Company policy administration to store managers on campus with students, administrators, faculty, and staff. In addition, responsible for follow-up with leadership team on implementation of strategies, goals and objectives to drive sales and margins in their stores.

Responsible for leadership for management of multiple college bookstores in the Kentucky, Louisiana, Ohio and Pennsylvania area. Duties included oversight of financial goals and objectives, campus relations, directing execution of Company objectives and policies as well as continued leadership development of team. Position was initially store based but was able to back fill and pull out of day to day operations of store and was given additional responsibility of oversight and development of bottom performing stores in Georgia and Tennessee.

Responsible for day to day operations for a multiple campus/multiple unit college store operation with two locations open full-time and six pop-up satellite locations open at outlying campuses during peak sales periods. Responsibilities included maintaining campus relations, merchandising, training, staffing, sales, Company initiative execution and sales reporting responsibilities of all stores in the group. Focused teams on daily store presentation as well as trained and developed a customer service and sales focused mindset to support sales and profitability goals while maintaining excellent campus relations.

Responsible for management and oversight of this three store off-campus market. Daily responsibilities included training and development of teams for all three stores while focusing on store presentation, growing sales as well as profitability for this extremely competitive local market. Responsible for development of marketing strategies and innovative sales strategies focused on growing local market share and developing strategic partnerships that would not only support sales and profitability growth but that would also add value to enhance the customer experience. In addition to day to day brick and mortar operations, managed a large volume mail order operation that was responsible for processing approximately 15,000 mail orders annually.
