Hello! My name is Kendall A. I am an educator, entrepreneur, author, community development specialist, and mother. My work specializes in best teaching and learning practices; community work centered around women and children with an emphasis on faith; and using creative expression to build communities of strong character. I have been in the education and community building spheres for nearly twenty years. Some of my highlights, include: developing social programs for children centered on Islamic character; creating communities and support systems for local families; authoring several children's books; producing a peaceful parenting podcast; and co-heading an African-centered, Montessori preschool. I am passionate about positive representations of Africa and the Black diaspora; developing Islamic communities that support character growth; writing inclusive literature; promoting a healthy environment; and wealth building opportunities.
