I am a Business Administration student at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, with a focus on marketing. I enjoy learning new skills and concepts that can help me grow as an entrepreneur and a marketer. At UMKC I am a Henry W. Bloch Scholar and Professional Career Escalators Scholar. I am also a former DECA Chapter President, a varsity dance team member, and a spirit store assistant manager from my high school years. I feel strongly in my leadership, teamwork, and communication skills. I aspire to use my talents and abilities to make a positive impact in the world.I am a self-taught digital artist and the owner of @the.k.in.kc.designs, an online platform where I sell digital portrait illustrations, decals, stickers, apparel, and accessories. I have also written and published my own book, showcasing my creativity and passion for writing. I use the Procreate platform as well as Affinity Designer, and I manage the online sales, marketing, and customer relations of my small business.In addition to being a business owner, I serve part-time at The Melting Pot. I am a certified trainer, and practice customer service to ensure an exciting dining experience for guests. I enjoy being working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, where I can continue to grow my communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
