Ken has accrued over 20 years of business and systems analysis experience in both large organizations and in smaller service companies and across many sectors, particularly banking & financial services.He has taken on many different roles including Business Analyst, Systems/Technical Analyst, Data Analyst, Analyst/Programmer and Software Developer and has participated in all aspects of the software development life cycle. For the last 6 years, his analysis skills have been used within Nationwide Building Society on such diverse projects as the introduction of a new Web Chat solution through to involvement in one of Europe’s largest migration projects to transfer 5 million current accounts from a legacy system to a new SAP Banking platform. These, and other projects, involved Ken in applying many BA skills and techniques, including stakeholder engagement, managing and nurturing good relationships with business process owners and external parties, requirements elicitation, analysis and process mapping of As-Is and To-Be business process flows and production of High Level/Detailed Business Requirements, Process Design, Reference Guides, Feasibility Studies, Impact Analysis, etc.In his several permanent and contract roles, Ken has acquired a very broad range of experiences across many different sectors, business teams, projects and technologies and this has demonstrated his ability to quickly learn and adapt to new environments, to build good user/team relationships and to contribute quality work in a very short space of time.He has strong interpersonal skills, is a good listener, is empathetic to people’s needs and has a good sense of humour, all of which have allowed him to communicate and interact effectively at all stakeholder levels from senior management downwards and to be accepted within a new team or business area very quickly. He is also a conscientious self starter who can happily work in a team environment or as an individual.

Having a technical/data analysis background (involving data mapping, data flows, specifying data interfaces, SQL querying, fixing data quality issues, etc.) helped me greatly in understanding the data requirements for customer insight and operational reporting, setting up service lines, etc. -
