I oversee 6th-8th grade students and middle school teachers, paras, custodian and secretary. I am currently working on a district planning team and have participated and planned staff development for the district I am currently in. I've worked on and led data teams and implemented intervention programs to assist our students in academic growth. Our middle school has seen growth in attendance, math and reading. We are working hard.

I was Secondary Principal-7th-12th grades. I was required to teach 7th-8th combined social studies class and hold a study hall. I started the Ashley Alumni newsletter and created an address database to help with their 2013 125th community celebration. Eventually with the alumni newsletter came the leadership academy which brought in alumni, successful in their fields. These alumni spoke to the student body about what leadership is and the adventures they've experienced along their journey. From this alumni program The Dollars For Scholars foundation was developed. I also took part in the Ashley Job Development Association.
