Partnered with the Store Manager to lead and mentor a multi-level management team and 40+ associates to foster a customer-centric environment. Served as the store visionary; overseeing the entire customer experience and visual aesthetic of the retail environment including floor planning, merchandising, product flow, internal/ window displays, and outfitting. Developed the store team’s assessment skills of utilizing KPIs, ROIs, trends, and company directives to foster an entrepreneurial approach to merchandising, floor planning, and selling.

Spearheaded the Décor Department in designing, buying, and curating unique, artisanal wedding décor. Re-defined the department's three customer archetypes that dictated the vision for future product development. Responsible for designing all own-brand products. Worked with overseas manufacturers to produce prototypes. Developed collaborations with market vendors to create exclusive, brand-appropriate product. Analyzed sales data and web analytics to guide future product development, maintain inventory/ appropriate product flow, and ensure proper style count, price point, margin, and store allotment. Collaborated extensively with cross-functional partners such as Web, PR, Production, Photo Styling, Merchandising, and Planning. Managed and mentored all Buying interns.

Established relationships with vendors, placed purchase orders, and kept all online databases up to date (PO Entry, Merchandise Tracking, OTB maintenance). Communicated with Distribution Center in regards to quality issues, RTVs, PO receipts, and shipment updates. Handled product turnover to web photography team, and followed up with activation team for seamless, timely upload of product onto the site.

Worked with the Design Director to define three core personas for Anthropologie's Home Department in preparation for the launch of their custom furniture assortment in 2014. Helped develop a concept presentation, which was presented to the CEO, that established the vision for the new furniture department. Designed watercolor illustrations and hand lettering for journals, and assisted the Senior Home Designer with designing hand towels, shower curtains, bedding, and wallpaper.
