In this role, I provide direct leadership for ASU Student Rights and Responsibilities, ASU Student Advocacy and Assistance, University Hearing Board, and the Student Assistance Coordination Team (a behavioral intervention and crisis coordination team). Responsibilities include oversight of Code of Conduct infraction investigations and issuance of sanctions including suspension and expulsion. Provide leadership for Title IX investigation team, the team responsible for addressing allegations of sexual misconduct. Provide leadership to the team investigating fraternity and sorority conduct, as well as the team responsible for compliance with addressing student athlete conduct. Provide leadership for the team responsible for administrative operations of Student Rights and Responsibilities.Provide leadership to the staff responsible for administrative hearings for appeals of decisions of suspension and expulsions.Provide leadership for the Student Advocacy and Assistance team, a team of care coordinators responsible for addressing any student issues or concerns and coordinating appropriate follow up as needed.Collaborate with academic affairs and student affairs units to coordinate care, response, communication and follow up of students of concern by chairing the Student Assistance Coordination Committee. I assist the Dean of Students with all other operations within the office.
