When I joined the military at 19, it was a pivotal decision shaped by my determination to pursue education and a passion for technology. Growing up, I always dreamed of working with computers, but financial constraints made college seem out of reach. Joining the Air Force provided me the opportunity to not only serve my country but also develop valuable skills while preparing for the future I always envisioned.During my six years in the Air Force, I worked as a Pashto linguist, a role that allowed me to delve into a new language and culture. While this position was rewarding, what truly fascinated me was the technical side of the job—the analysis, problem-solving, and precision required. These experiences sharpened my attention to detail, strengthened my ability to think critically, and further fueled my interest in pursuing a career in technology.Now that I’ve completed my service, I’m fully committed to turning my long-standing passion for software development and video games into a career. With the same drive that pushed me through my time in the military, I am seeking opportunities that allow me to learn, grow, and contribute in the fields of software engineering and game development.
