I began my professional journey in childcare through babysitting, which swiftly evolved into a year-long experience at a daycare during high school. Concurrently, I pursued College Credit Plus courses at a community college, optimizing my educational path. Post-graduation, I transitioned to Athens, securing a position in retail. This aligns seamlessly with my ongoing college studies, internships, and practicum hours. In the realm of retail, I leverage my robust social and guest service skills.My inaugural college internship at a Childcare Development Center honed my patience, problem-solving, empathy, creativity, and instructional abilities. Simultaneously, I dedicated practicum hours to my Recreation Management minor at Ohio University. Further internships in First, Second, and Fourth grade classrooms expanded my expertise in organization, time management, classroom management, and curriculum development. Currently immersed in my final college semester, I'm undertaking a five-day-a-week Professional Internship in a Kindergarten classroom, refining skills such as classroom leadership, individualized instruction, and collaborative teamwork.
