Charged with growing ARAG presence and market share in targeted distribution channels, including employee/voluntary benefits channels and new markets. • Directed, developed, implemented and managed marketing strategies and projects which included: -Responsibility for all marketing functions including corporate communications, digital marketing and websites, sales collateral and support, content strategy and editorial calendar, public relations, sponsorships/experiential marketing, direct marketing and social media -Working with Executives and Managers across the company to continuously evaluate unit strategies and plans -Preparing and managing an annual marketing plan and budget to effectively meet the company’s priorities -Developing high-level schedule of annual projects (short and long term) and implementing policies, procedures, and guidelines for marketing projects -Developing and implementing departmental processes and procedures• Business owner for marketing technology projects (websites, marketing technology implementation) -Responsible for requirements list and prioritization -Collaborated with project team (Marketing, IT) and other business stakeholders (Customer Care, Legal, Finance) to ensure requirements could be supported by the business -Worked with project management team on project communications and change management• Led, developed and grew marketing department of 16 marketing professionals• Represented ARAG North America on ARAG International’s Communications Board, comprised of marketers from the parent organization and sister subsidiaries • Participated and leveraged leadership experience in corporate committees including Management Committee and the company’s Compensation Committee
