I was responsible for auditing origination documents for mortgage loans being serviced by the company as well as ensuring that Midland Mortgage had accurately serviced every mortgage loan in their portfolio. I worked with senior management on a daily basis regarding the articulate review of complaints from borrowers, attorneys, OCC, FHLMC and FNMA. I handled mediation calls for conventional and FHA loan types. I continued to review new releases as well as build and maintain spreadsheets to ensure that the company remained in compliance with government and private mortgage regulations. I also worked several daily and weekly reports.

I handled a high intake of mortgage applications, including the review of all types of income verification and credit reports. I educated customers on the different mortgage options available and followed up to obtain additional information and/or documentation as needed. I managed a pipeline of approximately 40 files per month and was consistently recognized as a top performer and received numerous awards. I assisted the team lead as well as upper management with daily and weekly reports.I assisted with underwriting on conventional and FHA loans on a regular basis. I took an active role in reviewing all newly released government and conventional regulations and updating the company’s policies and procedures accordingly. I also built and maintained spreadsheets to ensure that the company remained in compliance with regulations. I audited conventional and FHA files as necessary. This project was largely mine to manage with little oversight from management. I was able to prioritize tasks and effectively manage workloads.I trained and mentored new hires to ensure that they completed their daily tasks and were able to adequately and successfully perform their job responsibilities of accurately processing and servicing all mortgage loan types.

I was responsible for transcribing multiple emergency department and urgent care accounts which required working with numerous systems and adherence to varying criteria. I was required to accurately provide information regarding the treatment of patients which had to be turned around quickly to ensure that the billing was done correctly. There was continuation of care in a majority of cases where the patient had to be admitted to the hospital and receive further treatment. I regularly worked with several doctors and their staff and became adept at understanding each doctors’ preference. I consistently multi-tasked and made sure that no errors were made as this was vitally important to the health of the patients. I worked from my home office in this position, which required the ability to work independently and maintain focus in the absence of management. I consistently exceeded the established quarterly quota.
