I have over 20 years of experience developing and leading initiatives to advance equitable community development. In my current role at the Metropolitan Planning Council, I have had the privilege to center my work on addressing how racial and economic disparities impact the built environment through equitable policy development. This includes guiding initiatives for collaborative advocacy, testing innovative approaches with the public and private sector to support institutional change, and reshaping internal systems to better support the intersectional nature of our work. I am a servant leader who is not afraid to get my hands dirty. I am passionate about understanding root causes in order change structural inequities in the public and private sectors.
