I am a Senior at Fordham University majoring in Marketing with Strategic Branding and Consulting concentrations and a Visual Arts minor with a 3.8 GPA. I’ve earned certifications taught by industry leading professionals at the Association of National Advertisers, Deutsch NY and LVMH. I believe that marketing and agency work holds the keys to unlocking greater diversity and representation and am interested in full-time agency opportunities when I graduate in May 2024. At Fordham, I am both a Marketing Scholars Candidate and a member of the Ignite Honors Scholars Program. As a Marketing Scholars Candidate, I am one of thirty students in a career development program aimed at providing unique, high-profile opportunities to advance marketing careers through exposure to industry-leading professionals. I am also an Ignite Honors Scholar, a program focused on developing the critical thinking and analytical skills used by business leaders to identify emerging trends, and design approaches to social, economic and political challenges that positively change the world. On campus I also serve on the E-boards of the Residence Halls Association and Social Innovation Collaboratory.Outside the classroom I’ve gained real world experience as a Marketing Intern at Summer Friday, a full-service marketing agency, where I work on New York Life Investments, Cigna, and National Grid client teams. I conduct research and perform competitive benchmarking to support client social media strategies. I also supported the creation of a white-paper on the use of A1 in the healthcare industry. As an intern at the Women's Executive Council, I created marketing material for a non-profit organization that supports educational scholarships for women. I also support Fordham’s A Moment of Magic Foundation Chapter as the Executive Magic Experience Coordinator and appear as Tinkerbell for a non-profit committed to improving the lives of vulnerable and underserved children. Within Fordham’s academics, there are two hallmark programs that have allowed me to work in team settings for extended periods where I generated deep analysis and research to support a large final presentation and business plan. As part of Gabelli's Consulting Cup, I worked with a team of my peers to develop a comprehensive solution to Lyft active rider base by pitching a new carpooling initiative: LyftNetwork. During my freshman year, my team participated in the Ground Floor Challenge presenting O.W.L.S., a delivery platform for college students. You can contact me at kkleintop@fordham.edu
