• Detailed designed mechanical systems to prepare for fabrication and installation using AutoCAD 2010.• Organized and managed communication between the field, the design team and mechanical shop to ensure quality product and installation.• Conducted meetings with field personnel, using AutoCAD 2010 for floor layouts and placement of mechanical systems.• Assisted in fabrication of a bathroom group in the plumbing shop.What is a "Spooler"?The position includes taking mechanical drawings designed by a CAD drafter and detailing them, preparing them to be manufactured in the shop. Basically, the drafter would draw an entire floor of a plumbing pipe system {hot water and cold water pipes}. The field operations would break that floor into areas {called "batches"} and the Spooler would take those batches and break them down even further into "spools". For example, the spool would consist of a piece of pipe and a fitting, that would be soldered in the shop and then shipped out to the field to be installed. Once the batch is finished, consisting of many spools, the Spooler would then create a map of the spools giving them labels, so when they are all shipped out to the field, the field operations can put them together like a puzzle. Because of spooling, the mechanical systems can be cut and put together in the shop, rather than shipping a bunch of random pieces of pipe and fittings out to the field and having them try to figure out how to put it all together. Some batches would consist of 1,500 feet of pipe, so this process saves the company a lot of time and money.

Jim Kennedy Photogrphers is a high-end professional wedding photography studio. There I was able to organize, update and execute the process of a professional photographer's studio. As a graphic artist, I was able to edit, upload and prepare images for client's review and retouched photos in Adobe Photoshop. I was able to train new employees to duplicate production process and made connections with the print companies in the areas to ensure finest quality wedding photos and albums.
