I'm a master communicator with over 20 years in delivering seminars and corporate training in advanced technical subjects, primarily in programming and software design.I and the other members of my team also design and create software, specializing in Java, C++ and .NET languages such as, Visual Basic and C#.My favorite type of work is the blending of the two disciplines of software training and software development in what is often called "mentoring". In mentoring, we follow the complete development life-cycle of a project. We start with rapid training in the core skills required; including, analysis, requirements, design, implementation, testing, deployment and where applicable, maintenance.Throughout, best practice patterns are implemented in each phase (analysis, design, implementation and testing). The Unified Modeling Language (UML) is used to aid the design and documentation of the project without sacrificing the core Agile philosophy of avoiding unnecessary artifacts.
